A logo or supplier statement is not enough to support an order-specific claim.
What brands need to know
OEKO-TEX, GOTS, recycled-content standards and branded fibres address different subjects. A valid scope certificate shows that an organisation is certified for defined activities; transaction documentation connects eligible material to a specific supply chain movement. Product claims must match the fibre, supplier, processing route and order. Certificates should be checked for holder, number, scope, validity and applicable product category. Never assume that every fabric from a certified supplier is automatically certified.
