Children's and Baby Clothing Production
Material, trims and construction need age-appropriate safety review.
What brands need to know
Baby and children's garments require careful selection of fibres, dyes, trims, drawcords, snaps, buttons, decorative elements and seam placement. Requirements vary by destination market, age group and product type. A general fabric certificate does not replace product-specific safety assessment. The tech pack should state age range, intended use, care, attachment strength expectations and any applicable restricted-substance or mechanical-safety requirements.
Production checklist
- State destination and age group
- Avoid hazardous small components
- Test attachment strength
- Verify applicable product rules
How this affects your quotation
A reliable quotation depends on the final design, construction, fabric, GSM, colours, size range, quantity per style and colour, branding, packing, delivery country and target date. Commercial feasibility and material availability are reviewed before a price is confirmed.
